Bangladesh Women Set for Historic Maiden Bilateral Tour of England
The Bangladesh Women’s cricket team will make history in September 2027 when they tour England for their first-ever bilateral series against the hosts. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the six-match white-ball series as part of its international fixtures.
The tour will feature three T20 Internationals followed by three One-Day Internationals, marking a significant milestone in the growth of women’s cricket in Bangladesh.
Six-Match White-Ball Series Confirmed
The series will begin with the T20Is before moving to the 50-over format.
T20I Schedule
- 1st T20I: September 8 – Northampton
- 2nd T20I: September 10 – Taunton
- 3rd T20I: September 12 – Worcester
ODI Schedule
- 1st ODI: September 17 – Hove
- 2nd ODI: September 21 – Canterbury
- 3rd ODI: September 24 – Chelmsford
The tour will provide Bangladesh with valuable experience against one of the strongest teams in women’s cricket.
Bangladesh Men Also Set for Historic England Tour
The women’s tour will follow another landmark occasion for Bangladesh cricket.
Earlier in May 2027, the Bangladesh men’s team will travel to England for a one-off Test at Lord’s, their first men’s Test in England since 2010. The historic match is scheduled to begin on May 28 at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.
ECB Welcomes Bangladesh
ECB Chief Executive Richard Gould welcomed both Bangladesh teams and said the tours would help strengthen the cricketing relationship between England and Bangladesh.
He expressed excitement about hosting Bangladesh Men for their first home Test in England since 2010, while also looking forward to welcoming the Bangladesh Women’s team for their maiden bilateral white-ball series.

The England tour represents another important milestone for Bangladesh Women’s cricket as the team continues to gain more opportunities against leading international sides.
Playing six matches in English conditions will provide valuable preparation and exposure as Bangladesh continue their development on the global stage.
